I have twenty-two years involvement in the fields of foster care and adoption and nine years experience as a qualified Special Needs Education Assistant Level III.



I have observed students struggling in classrooms due to anxiety and domestic disruption leading to a generally unsuccessful schooling history.



I have personal and professional experience working with students who have a diagnosed disability. Also students who have experienced early developmental trauma resulting in school anxiety and poor academic achievement.



I have great success working with students who are 'falling through the cracks'. Students who need to consolidate basic literacy and numeracy concepts to enable learning to happen in the classroom.



I have experience working at a Language Development Centre (students who are experiencing delays in literacy and numeracy).
